Hi, I’m Shawn Grant

FLABANGO is the vessel for my imagination, a way of shaping inspiration into lasting form. These sculptures are both artifacts and companions, alive with the energy of the moment they were made and ready to hold new meaning in the lives of those who collect them.

My inspiration comes from ancient stone carvings, symbols, mythic narratives, and the quiet pull of forms that seem to carry their own forgotten stories. Working in cast stone, bronze, and acrylic, I create each piece to carry both the weight of history and the spark of something alive.

Sculpting is a newer path for me, but it feels like the natural continuation of a lifetime of creating. I’ve always been driven by curiosity and imagination—whether as an inventor, builder, or artist—and each step has led me here. This work feels less like a beginning and more like answering a lifelong calling that was waiting to surface.
